A CSPA credential is used to signify a deeper understanding of applied predictive analytics and data science used in industry sectors reliant on interpretation and manipulation of data.
The four ways to get this credential are as follows:
– Five assessments as defined by the CAS Institute website
– Experience Practitioner Pathway (EPP) which is designed for individuals who have been practicing property-casualty insurance and risk for longer than five years
– Waivers for specific parts via EPP Applications are available for individuals who only meet some of the EPP requirements
– Fellows and Associates of the Casualty Actuarial Society automatically get waivers for the Property-Casualty Fundamentals(Assessment 1) and Professionalism (Assessment 5) assessments.
