Scott's recruiting career began in 1973 shortly after leaving college. Originally concentrating in the Chemical and Manufacturing industries, he switched over to the Actuarial and Benefits marketplaces in 1983.
Scott Rollins was born in Evanston, IL and raised in Northbrook, IL. Where he attended Glenbrook North High School. Scott then went to Valparaiso University in Indiana majoring in Business with a minor in Mathematics.
He has always been an avid sports enthusiast, from participating in little league through college baseball, to coaching his 2 sons in soccer and baseball. The boys are now grown and out of the house, sort of.
Current hobbies are still sports but largely as a spectator cheering on the Chicago teams through their trials and tribulations.
Matt received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and management from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL in May 1993.
Matt is married and has two boys that keep him quite busy. Matt actively plays both golf and hockey and continues to be a huge Chicago sports fan.
The favorite thing about working at SC International is the client and candidate relationships that I’ve made over 2 decades. These are relationships that I maintain to this day and it’s what makes this job of recruiting so enjoyable.
Recruiting Work Experience: Jerry entered the search industry in 1977. He started his own practice in 1978 specializing in Information Technology. In 2001 he migrated to Actuarial Search and Joined S.C. International in 2003. While Jerry covers the broad range of P/C, Life, Health and Pension in both Consulting and Insurance companies, his concentration is in Health and Pension Consulting firms specializing in Public Sector, Small Plan and Taft Hartley work.
Business Broker Experience: In 2006 Jerry started a separate division at S.C. International working with the owners of small actuarial consulting firms and TPA. This work involves succession planning, which at times involves bringing in the next line of management and owners, at other times will involve selling the company. Simply stated, functioning as a business broker to aid the owners in selling their practice. Normal size of these companies will range from $250,000 through $2,500,000. The smallest books that have been sold were $100,000 in revenue for a partially retired actuary and the largest books we have worked with are in the $10,000,000 range.
About Jerry: Married for 35 years with 3 children. Interests include woodworking, camping, skiing, bicycle riding, motorcycle riding, baking and cooking.
Favorite thing about working at SCI: "I like the people, the environment, the resources and the ability it gives me to help people out. In addition management has given us the freedom in exploring and developing new revenue streams such as the Business Broker work."
Work Experience: Bill began his recruiting career with SC International in October of 2007. He recruits across all lines of actuarial: Pensions, Health, Property & Casualty, and Life. His clients are typically insurance and consulting organizations but also include corporate clients, investment firms, and financial organizations.
Candidate focus includes: Pre-ASA, ASA, FSA, Pre-ACAS, ACAS, FCAS, CFA, MBA, PhD, etc.
As a recruiting specialist, Bill handles processes from the early stages of job identification, onto sourcing and implementation, and finally, offer and acceptance negotiation.
About Bill: B.S. in Finance and Mathematics, North Central College – 2006
Bill resides in Aurora, IL and has lived in the mid-west his entire life. He is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. One example of a perfect evening consists of a bon fire, music, and good food and drinks with family and friends. A friendly competition of just about any game is fair game!

Recruiting Work Experience: Mark has spent over a decade in the recruiting industry and has focused mainly in the areas of actuarial and employee benefits. He has successfully
placed such candidates at a variety of levels within consulting firms, insurance, reinsurance and financial services companies. Mark takes great effort in sourcing the right candidates based on client needs, fully understanding candidates' career goals and strengths. He takes pride in ensuring a lasting relationship with clients and candidates with changing business dynamics.

Bonnie has her Master’s degree from Northwestern University, in Counseling and her Undergraduate degree from Loyola University of Chicago. She has 15 years’ experience in Employment from Recruitment, Policy & Procedure, Employee Relations and Business Consulting. She is a Professional Résumé Writer and Career Advisor. She is certified to both Administer and Interpret Career Assessments, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI:tm:) and the Strong Interest Inventory ((SII:tm:).
