Description:
Non traditional client looking for a Sr. Consultant with retirement actuarial skills to provide actuarial services and consulting advice to clients regarding their benefit programs with a specialty in defined benefit plans. Will also have hands in non-pension related projects as well. With direction from sr. leadership, support consulting projects, overseeing multiple, concurrent consulting assignments. With direction from senior management team, lead practice initiatives for technology solutions. Main duties to include: Manage technology solutions on client-billable projects including plan terminations, merger & acquisition, compliance, plan amendments and plan designs, Develop standardized technology solutions to support ongoing consulting projects and provide for more scalable project solutions, Train associate consultants and analysts to ensure continued development of the staff. Review and standardize processes for the Custom Administration Group to minimize ongoing risk to firm and maximize ongoing efficiency, Manage data/calculation solutions for large-scale implementations within the Custom Administration Group. Manage the development and maintenance of the Consulting Information System. Develop and manage technical consulting information storage/distribution processes with the retirement consulting practice. Integrate efforts with the Health Care and Communications Consulting Practices. The ideal candidate will have A.S.A., E.A. or F.S.A., E.A. credentials along with 8+ plus years of experience in a pension and benefit consulting firm or related industry. Knowledge of benefit program design, legislative, account and regulatory requirements (IRS/DOL/FAS/PBGC/ERISA).
