Asset management firm looking to add an in-house corporate position (Program Manager - Benefits Operations). Looking for future leader. The Program Manager will be responsible for Benefits related programs and projects as well as overseeing the data team. Goal of position is to ensure that excellent programs and processes are in place in the areas of 401(k), data, and compliance. Ideal candidate must have strong analytical capabilities, 401(k)/retirement knowledge and be more of a refiner/executer. Job reports into the Director of Benefits and would ideally be looked at as a potential successor/leader down the road. Need someone with entrepneurial spirit and able to help invent and create solid products. Will develop strategic direction related to the operations of Benefits. Oversee data process and data team - will manage up to 3 data processors. Create/manage testing work plans and test documentations. Oversee and track benefit costs and other expenses. Identify reengineering and streamlining oppty's. Engage actively with vendors to identify oppty's for process and service improvements. Serve as project manager for benefit initiatives including project planning, open enrollment and technical projects. Ideal applicant will have 10-15+ years of experience in the retirement 401(k) area as well as data quality experience (including extracting/analyzing data, testing and data clean up). Must be strong analytically and technically. Must have solid background in EXCEL and ACCESS. Will manage the day to day 401K programs while also dealing with vendors daily managing the portfolios. Will be involved in everything from inception to implementation. Must have core 401K knowledge with broad retirement as well as health and welfare experience a major plus.
