Description:

Smaller consulting firm looking for an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA and have at least 5 years experience in the small to mid-sized plan market, with emphasis on cross-tested combined DB/DC plans and cash balance plans, as well as the traditional Defined Benefit plans. He/she must have a solid background in mathematics, general business and statistics; must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure/deadlines; must be very organized and detail oriented; must maintain high levels of confidentiality and must be able to work as part of a team as well as with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, proficiency in the Microsoft Suite and Internet are a must. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the followingascertain minimum funding requirements and maximum deductible contributions and cash reserves and liabilities necessary to ensure payment of future benefits; determine or help determine company policy, and explain complex technical matters to company executives, government officials, consultants, clients and CPAs; design, review and help administer pension plans; advise clients as needed and collaborate with programmers and senior management to help companies develop plans for new lines of business or improving existing business.
