Midwest based Life Insurance Company is in need of a Financial Actuary who will perform a wide range of financial actuarial responsibilities. Reporting to the CFO, this position will be the senior actuarial position in the company. Key responsibilities include preparation of the GAAP and Stat liability valuations, enhancing the company’s modeling capabilities for a wide range of anticipated applications, sign off on Reserves, and have oversight of all other financial actuarial work performed by internal staff and outside consultants. Position requires a “hands-on” work style. Required is a credentialed Actuary possessing at least 10 years of like experience. Compensation is commensurate with experience but can be at a significant level
